Le Marche on E-Bike: The Nine Castles of Arcevia
Getting on the comfortable E-Mountain Bike, this time we are getting around to rediscover the hidden properties among harmonious Le Marche hills. Indeed, nine castles belonging to the XIIIth and XIVth centuries arise on the territory of the municipality of Arcevia: Avacelli, Castiglioni, Piticchio, Montale, Nidastore, Loretello, San Pietro in Musio, Palazzo, Caudino. Nine castles at very short distance one from another in a strip of land, it’s really a number of record! Riding on gravel and paved roads, we’ll meet Loretello, so called “the village of love”, the eldest and best conserved one, Avacelli with neighbouring church of Sant’Ansovino, town belonging to the XIth century and linked to the ecclesiastic order, San Pietro in Musio by its almond shape, Nidastore which, such as the name indicates, was in past age place of falconry, so going on by wonders.
What should I bring?
Hat, spare clothes, raincoat, water, lunch box, gloves, mask, hand sanitizer gel. Helmet and bike protection in case of participation by your own bike (in case of rental, all the services will be furnished by the team).
